Welcome to the Fairfield County Hunt Club Horse Show page!
The Fairfield County Hunt Club is home to a number of nationally recognized events. The largest and most celebrated event is the June Benefit Show. It has earned the distinction of one of the most beautiful and prestigious shows in the country and attracts world class riders. It provides a wonderful opportunity to see some of the best in equestrian sport, right on the Club’s polo field.
The Fairfield August Show includes the finals for the Connecticut Hunter -Jumper Association. Qualified riders from around the state compete for the top ten spots in their divisions. This is another opportunity to see top riders on the Club grounds.
FCHC hosts monthly rated shows, which are recognized by the US Equestrian Federation (USEF), New England Horsemen’s Councils (NEHC), and the Connecticut Hunter-Jumper Association (CHJA). Although the shows have different ratings, they all offer equitation and hunter classes for all skill levels.
On a smaller scale, the Summer schooling shows allow riders who are just learning, as well as those who want to fine-tune their skills, to get valuable showing experience in a less formal atmosphere.
